 Maintenance
 Our focus is on defining and implementing proven systems and procedures to effectively meet our clients’ specific needs. Proper maintenance management requires that we consciously attempt to identify potential problems before they compromise a facility. When a problem is identified, a solution is proposed; and, if approved and implemented, it will be monitored for effectiveness.
The useful life of equipment and systems is extended with a proper maintenance program. Our goal is to properly maintain equipment until it is economically obsolete. In order to begin preventive maintenance, a complete and accurate inventory of equipment is created and maintained. This inventory includes equipment status and estimated useful life as a reference to the capital budget. Equipment history provides a basis for evaluating preventive maintenance and repair programs, as well as any potential manufacturer problem. A consistent, thorough schedule compiled by a Chief Engineer ensures that all equipment and systems are properly maintained and also assists management in projecting manpower requirements.
At Hill Environmental Operations, special attention is directed at computer-based record keeping and reporting for enhanced productivity, accountability and facility management.
